About Us

Our Mission

To glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ—making Heaven bigger by loving people well.

We exist to share the Gospel, grow believers in their faith, and serve our community in the love of Christ.

  Our Vision

To be a Christ-centered church that faithfully reaches Ore City and beyond with the Gospel, equips believers to grow in their walk with Christ, and sends disciples to serve God’s Kingdom locally and globally.

We envision a church where lives are changed by the power of the Gospel, families are strengthened, and the love of Christ is lived out every day.

  Our Values

Biblical Authority

We believe the Bible is God's Word and our final authority for faith and practice.

Gospel-Centered Living

Everything we do flows from the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Loving People Well

We are committed to showing the love of Christ to everyone, inside and outside the church.

Discipleship & Spiritual Growth

We desire to help every believer grow in their relationship with Christ through worship, study, prayer, and obedience.

Faithful Worship

We gather regularly to worship God through Scripture, prayer, and praise.

Missional Living

We partner with the SBC and SBTC to support missions, church planting, and Gospel work around the world.

Community & Service

We believe God has placed us in Ore City to serve our neighbors and be a light in our community.

  Our Beliefs

The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

God is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and offers salvation to all who repent and believe.

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone—not by works—and is available to all who call upon the name of the Lord.

The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in faith, serve others, and make disciples locally and globally.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances of the church, symbolizing our faith in Christ and our obedience to Him.

The Mission of the church is to glorify God by sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and living out our faith in everyday life.

Plan of Salvation

God loves you and desires a personal relationship with you through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that all people have sinned and fall short of God’s standard (Romans 3:23), but through Jesus, we can be forgiven and receive eternal life.

1. Recognize Your Need

We are all sinners in need of God’s mercy. Sin separates us from God, and we cannot save ourselves through good works (Romans 6:23).

2. Believe in Jesus Christ

Salvation comes by trusting in Jesus Christ alone—His life, death on the cross, and resurrection. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins so we could be forgiven (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9).

3. Confess and Repent

Confess your sins to God and turn away from them, committing your life to follow Jesus (1 John 1:9, Acts 3:19).

4. Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior

Invite Jesus into your life by faith. Pray and ask Him to forgive your sins and guide your life. This is the moment you begin a personal relationship with Christ (Romans 10:9-10).

5. Live for Christ

Follow Jesus daily through prayer, reading God’s Word, and being part of a community of believers. Grow in your faith and share God’s love with others (Colossians 2:6-7, Matthew 28:19-20).

Prayer Example:
"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I confess my sins to You and ask You to forgive me. I invite You into my life as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. Amen."
